Fixed value discounts - available on  redback systems started late-2017 onwards

If your system has a box for '£ discount' for fixed value discounts, the discount value (eg £5) is removed form the final price of the item (the price INC VAT)

this means that is an item is

8.33 ex vat

10 inc vat

and you want a discount of £5 then it becomes

4.16 ex vat

5 inc vat
